Week 2 Review (8/19/19-8/25/19)

What is the happiest event that happened this week?

Someone told me that I have a good spirit and to keep doing what I’m doing. It filled me with immense gratitude.

What were your 3 big wins for the week?

  1. I began a new workout program and completed the first seven days.

  2. I maintained my morning routine.

  3. I am friendly and kind to all people I meet.

Review your goal and assess your progress. How did you spend your time this week? How will you improve next week?

I spent my time well. However, I did have two burnout days where I didn’t feel like doing much. Scheduling in more time for leisure is helpful. On those days, I also spent an excess amount of time playing video games, a hobby I would like to minimize. Thinking about a more healthy hobby to supplant will help with that behavioral change.

I have done well maintaining my study pace for the Total Wine Professional, I have also caught back up on my Coursera courses. This coming week I would like to increase the pace of Coursera completion, though, maintaining caution of cognitive overload.

I haven’t done well maintaining my reading habit. Although, there is a lot I am trying to do. To aid in this behavioral change of reading a book a week, it will help to find a primary location where I read. That way, when I am in that space my mind will be conditioned towards reading.

What was the biggest lesson you learned this week?

Maintaining gratitude and humility is critical.

I am also cognizant of the benefits from meditating. Particularly for experiencing the prior feelings.
